Outreach

We live out our mission in our efforts to care for those in need in our neighborhood and beyond. All are welcome to participate in these outreach activities.

Church of Mary Magdalene Breakfast Service

Our congregation has recently joined the team of volunteers and organizations that cook, and serve a warm, nutritious meal for homeless and formerly homeless women that gather on Saturday morning at St. James Cathedral Pastoral Outreach Center. This is a great opportunity to provide support and community outside our church.

Batch Cooking

In support of our long standing Senior Gathering, our congregation gets busy in the kitchen preparing delicious meals in batches for our guests to enjoy during lunch on Fridays. The recipes and ingredients are provided by our very experienced chef and prepared in our church following all sanitary protocols required by King County.

Little Free Library for Children

Please feel free to take or donate a book to our Children’s Little Free Library located on the south side of the church. While there are many Free Little Libraries across Seattle, ours is exclusively dedicated to children to support and promote early literacy in our neighborhood.
